Procedure for automatic data processing

The IFA Information Services are designed to perform complete automatic data processing by the data recipient. A special procedure has been developed for this purpose. The following documentation shall be used to apply the procedure:

• Verfahren zur maschinellen Verarbeitung - automatic data processing procedure:
  This is a generally valid description of the standardised procedure including information on delivery and implementation instructions.
• Produktbeschreibung - Product description:
  This is a description of the product ordered by the data recipient, incl. record descriptions, content explanations, etc.
• Definitionsdatei - Definition file definifa.idd:
  Product-specific, the definifa.idd summarises all field and record definitions created with the described procedure. It is provided with the initial delivery and in case of significant changes.

At the moment IFA guidelines for data recipients are only available in German.
